Autism Teams

Autism teams are developed with individuals who are parents, spouses, or primary caretakers for children or adults with Autism or other neurological impairments, physical, developmental or emotional/cognitive disabilities (which includes: Major Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, OCD, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder); that are interested in obtaining and handling an assistance dog for the benefit of the individual in their care. In these teams, the students (parents, spouses, or primary caretakers) are referred to as the facilitators. This is the person who will be the main "handler" of the Service Dog for whom the dog will provide benefit.....
